physics high school magnification question?

Use the thin lense equation to calculate the image distance of the formed by a 2 cm high object that is located 6 cm from a concave (diverging) lens having a focal length of -3 cm.
What will be the magnification of this image?

Using 1/v = 1/f - 1/u
adding data and signs ..
1/v = 1/(-3) - 1/6 = - 0.5
►v = - 2.0 cm (on same side of lens as object and virtual)
Magnification = v/u = 2/6 = 1/3
Height of image = 1/3*2.0cm .. .. ►0.67
