1. Most reflectors nowadays come from the factory pretty well aligned, so try it first before you start tinkering with it. The easiest way to check is to view a star on either side of focus: you should see a nice symmetrical doughnut shape.
2. If your scope didn't come with collimation instructions, the link below is pretty good.

I think you mean align the finderscope with the telescope.
First find a fixed point perhaps a mile or so away. Focus the telescope on that fixed point and center it in the middle of eyepiece. After you have done that and WITHOUT MOVING THE TELESCOPE, use the finderscope to locate that same object that is centered in your main scope. Center the object in your finderscope and now the two are aligned. I actually took mine way out somewhere that I had a clear line of sight and used the red light on top of tall tower, centering the red light in the scopes.
The benefit is that now whatever is in your finderscope should also be in your field of view in the telescope.
