I have a large irrational fear of spiders, and after this last incident I'm ready to see someone.  First, though, I need to know, when huntsman spiders in florida go and seek shelter when it rains, even as far as two rooms deep into an apartment (I startled it and it ran lightning fast to the bathroom), will it try to go back outdoors eventually?  Because they're ground spiders with no web, do they at least have a base?  Since it's a hunter, it doesn't seem right that it will stay in a central area indoors when all the food is outside (or at least in the walls, which I can deal with as they like to eat other pests).

I just don't want to see it skirt past me as I move things...it's been a full day and a half now that I have had panic attacks entering my bedroom, especially towards the bathroom, I sprayed it and it disappeared, no corpse (friends searched) no trace on surface levels, bug they hide and are (no thanks to reading articles) are particularly unaffected by sprays.  I slept on the couch last night with almost no rest, guarding the door, waiting for lightning fast legs, all lights on.  Any insight or help on the current issue will (I hope) get me to the point of entering my bathroom again.  What are the chances that it did not make a home in my bathroom and just wandered away?
I know it's afraid, but still a phobia is irrational and can't help my brain's reaction is.  Also, telling me to watch for it is already being done.  Lol

It won't bother you wherever it is. After being sprayed and chased around it is probably as scared of you as you are of it. Unfortunately, it may need help getting back outside; most spiders that I find roaming around the house have to be relocated with a container, dustpan, or a piece of paper. Watch for the spider and if you see it again, have a friend put it outside for you.
