Incandescent is correct but incandescent bulb is always electric bulb. maybe you are asking between incandescent and Fluorescent bulbs. Then again incandescent bulb is the answer.

Here is how: Incandescent produces light by increasing the temperature of the substance used in incandescent bulbs(the filament)  tremendously on which it starts emitting light.
But fluorescent used technology that was discovered much later which is quite advanced.
