Well do we? Like how in star-wars the whole tiny Leia "Help me Obi-Wan you're my only hope" hologram coming out of R2-D2

We do, but not for commercial use yet. It is still in the testing phase.

Scientists in Japan have created holograms that react to a user touching the image.  Here is a video.

yes but not movies yet
an ordinary photograph is a pattern on paper that reflects light to our eyes

a projection is a beam of light through a film that lets part of the light make a pattern on a screen

 a Hologram is a beam of light passing through a film that changes the light wave in such a way that the light appears to becoming from an and actual object to our eyes . but there is nothing "really there" just the light wave

can be done but not too practical yet
