How do I help my Dog?

My dog is taking Temaril P prescribed by my vet. I was warned that there would be side effects such as him being lethargic and an increase of hunger and thirst, but today (3rd day since medicine was prescribed he has only taken the medication twice) he is vomiting constantly. What exactly do I do to help cease his vomiting? I can tell he is not feeling well and he is very sluggish.

the best thing to do probably would to call the vet, you don't necessarily need to make an appointment. but yeah call the vet

you should let your vet know your dog is vomiting ... and if he is vomiting a lot i would be sure he stays hydrated until you can talk to the vet ... hopefully he is drinking water as a lot of vomiting can lead to dehydration which is not good ... if he is not drinking water try to get him to drink water ... maybe add a bit of chicken broth to make it more appealing ... and plain popsicles will also get some fluid into him ... but definitely call your vet as soon as you can and let him/her know your dog is vomiting ...

This happened to my dog, they need to get used to it. give him alot of water and pet him. he'll feel better and when i took my dog on a slow short walk it made her more energized and feed him white rice and hamburger meat..NO GREASE

Take him back to the vet if he's vomiting the medicine won't even work so you need to get him to the vet soon. Also vomiting dehydrates you so make sure he drinks lots of water.
