I found a small lizard on my wall & I shined my phone light on it so it went under my bed. I saw it, then it ran away again, so it's somewhere in my room. It was a darkred with some black color? So Im kind of traumatized it will bite me in my sleep..

Almost any animal with a mouth can or will bite if provoked. When you're sleeping, the lizard may bite you in defense if you like roll over or shift position in bed on it or something. But i doubt the lizard itself will crawl onto your bed just to bite you.

if it has teeth, it can bite! however, small lizards don't go after something that is much bigger than they are unless they're defending themselves. i don't think you have anything to worry about. sleep tight and look for it in the morning.

One of the best defenses a lizard has against being eaten by a snake is to bite. An alligator lizard has a very strong bite, and if it manages to bite the body of a snake, then the snake may not be able to kill it by constriction and it cannot swallow the lizard head first, so the snake may eventually give up. The good news is that there are only two species of venomous lizards. They are the Gila monster (Heloderma suspectum) and the closely related Mexican Beaded lizard (Heloderma horridum). Both are quite rare and they are restricted to the Southwester states and nearby Mexico. The other lizard that has a lethal bite is the Komodo Dragon, which has highly infectious bacteria living in its mouth. The small lizards you saw are not going to harm you, and they won't approach you while you sleep either.

yes and it hurts a lot too. snake bites dont hurt, dog bites hurt a little more, and lizard bites round out the top of my list at hurting the most. dont worry about it he will not screw with you unless you do so to him.

Try to grab it and it might. Otherwise, don't worry about it.

Yeah but don't worry there are only 2 poisonous lizards and both live in the American southwest and are large enough that you would see them coming a mile away.

No, they do not hurt unless your lizard had teeth, but I doubt yours does. Most lizards don't even need to chew, because they eat simple things like bugs. So if he tries to bite, it'll be fine, plus only Gila Monsters are venomous, but there aren't any here unless you're at a zoo.
