You mean the interference pattern when the light goes through a diffraction grating ?
The fringes spread out as the wavelength of the light gets longer.
Blue light has the lines close together ( short wavelength = short distance moved sideways to get another wavelength out of step )... step through the rainbow to get to red which have the lines the farthest apart ( longest wavelength - biggest distance sideways to get to be another λ out of step )
