These are polymer based candles insted of wax. They are a bit rubbery to touch and is usually transparent.

i see them alot in novelty stores and they are filled with mineral oil trapped in polymer matrix. oh they last longer than wax candles too.

you should see those high density mineral oil gel candles, they are quite solid rubbers and does not even look like candles.
